Congratulations Jan! I greatly admire your work and this one is no exception. I am impressed by how well you are able to capture the various hardness and textures of several elements within this painting. The semi-matt wall, the hard smooth table, and the shiny glossy pitcher, each one has it's own particular type of hardness and feel to it, and you are able to translate that well with oils. The limited color pallet is pleasing to the eyes, and the little bird perched atop further accentuates the mood, which is quite delightful to the audience. Keep up the great work! -Donna Gonzalez
